The MTV Video Music Awards nominees list has been announced and Taylor’s music video is nominated for 9 moonmen.
Blank Space received one nomination and Bad Blood received eight.

Taylor to receive Excellence Award at The AMAs

I’m sure by now all of you have noticed about Taylor’s record-breaking achievements with 1989. Not only, she has the biggest first-week sale in 2014, she’s also became the first woman who dethroned herself from the Hot 100 in 56 year of Billboard chart history with Blank Space.

I am sure you’ve also watched (and re-watched) Blank Space amazing music video. Speaking of, let’s watch it again okay?

If you love Blank Space, you’d be excited to know that Taylor is set to perform Blank Space at the AMAs.
Not only that, she’s set to receive the Dick Clark Award for Excellence, which is given for “an artist who achieves a groundbreaking feat or creates a landmark work.”

Congratulations Taylor!
I’m sure we all cannot wait for her performance at the AMAs. Stay tuned!

1989 – New Album Announced

Taylor has announced her new album, 1989, due to be released on October 27!
The announcement was made during a live broadcast on yahoo, that you could watch here.

The album is available for pre-order on iTunes now.

Taylor at the Golden Globes

Taylor attended the 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards on January 12.
Unfortunately, she didn’t win for “Best Original Song”, that award went to U2.
She, however, seems to have a good time.

This time, she’s nominated for Sweeter Than Fiction (OST of One Chance).
