Reba McEntire for President?

That’s Taylor’s suggestion!
MyLifeTime.com has a video about who’s country star should run for president. Clint Black thinks Trace Adkins would make a great President, but can anyone beat Reba McEntire? Taylor Swift doesn’t think so. Watch the video here

Greenbay Pressgazette has a nice review about Taylor’s performance in Resch Center in Ashwaubenon on Thursday, Oct 9, 2008.

Equal parts sweetheart and spitfire, the 18-year-old country singer/songwriter made her auspicious Resch Center entrance Thursday by skipping out to thunderous applause. And that was before she brought down the house with a head-swinging, hair-flying drumming duel with her female fiddle player during a raging “Should’ve Said No.’’
Swift is as fresh as country’s slick pop sound is tired. She moved around in cowboy boots and a glittery gold slip dress in front of a sold-out crowd of 7,319 like your typical teen cutting loose to her favorite song on the radio in her bedroom.
Not only can she write a bouncy hit like “Our Song,’’ but she can sell it live. There’s a remarkable sense of ease and self-assurance about her onstage, whether strumming acoustic guitar on the tender “Tim McGraw’’ amid a constellation of cell phones or dropping to her knees and slipping into full-on, scorned-rocker mode for “Picture to Burn.’’
