“At one point in her sold-out homecoming concert Saturday, music star Taylor Swift seemed to be the one that was starstruck.

After performing her song “Tim McGraw,” she gazed blankly out into the Bryce Jordan Center crowd, a sea of fans holding up cell phones and glowsticks that resembled colorful stars.

Swift, silent and seemingly in awe of an audience screaming at the level of a controlled riot, finally grabbed the microphone to address the uproarious din she had received.

“When I was a little girl growing up here,” Swift said, “I would always dream of things like that.”
