Conference Call
Taylor has another conference call between her tour dates. She (wisely) refused to talk more about Kanye West incident, but other than that she talked about touring, songwriting, Gloriana, Kellie, and Fearless Platinum Edition.
Here are some parts of the interview. To read more click HERE
Where do you see your songwriting taking you?
When I started out writing songs, I was 12, and it was really just about what had happened to me at school that day. I write about how I feel. I hope that people will look at my album as diary entries. I hope people will continue to read them.
You’re on tour right now with Kellie Pickler and Gloriana. Do they come to you for personal advice?
Kellie and I have been best friends for about two years. She doesn’t ask me for advice, and she will go in my phone and delete numbers of guys she doesn’t want me talking to. I sort of fall into the category of giving my friends love advice. I don’t usually have a boyfriend, so I don’t have my love life to talk about. We just have theirs. It’s fun to not have us talking too much about industry things. It’s just kinda girl talk.
You’re re-releasing “Fearless” on Oct. 27 with extra tracks. Talk to us about that.
There are six new songs going on the deluxe edition of the album. Some of them are songs that I wrote a while ago. But there are some that are new. There’s a version of “Forever and Always” that I re-recorded, on piano and cello, and it kind of addresses the sadder side of that song.
