Taylor Swift Takes Top RIAA Certifications
March 18, 2010The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has released its January and February Gold and Platinum reports, and Taylor Swift scored the highest Gold and Platinum album certification of any artist in those two months. Swift earned the distinction as Fearless was certified 6x Platinum in February, while her latest track, “Today Was A Fairytale,” from the movie Valentine’s Day, reached Gold rank, totaling more than 500,000 downloads sold since its January release.
