EW has posted the first still of Taylor’s guest starring appearance on New Girl.

For New Girl‘s relationship-centric May 14 finale, who better to cameo as a wedding guest than Taylor Swift (right, with star Zooey Deschanel) — the music megastar who wrote the (song)book on love, break-ups, and everything in between? Swift cameos as a woman named Elaine. Though showrunner Liz Meriwether remains coy about what exactly brings Elaine to the nuptials of Cece (Hannah Simone) and Shivrang (Satya Bhabha), she admits the casting was no coincidence. “I’m a huge fan of hers,” she says. “I was fully geeking out about meeting [Taylor]. I didn’t go to meet her right away because I kind of had to compose myself — there’s a 14-year-old girl inside of me.” Apparently the feeling was mutual, Meriwether recalls: “She was quoting lines to us from the show. It was a really exciting night.”

Still related to Billboard Music Awards, Taylor is also nominated for Milestone Award. There are six finalists up for this award, each – according to Billboard – has amazing achievements on the Billboard charts in the past year. You can vote for Taylor HERE. Three of them will make it to the final round; the top three will be announced on late April, so guys please vote vote vote for Taylor.

Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars, who have all topped the Billboard 200 in the past year, as well as critically acclaimed R&B stylist Miguel, are each set to perform at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards, airing live on ABC from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 19.

In addition to performing, Bieber, Miguel, Swift and Mars are each up for the new fan-driven Milestone Award. As reported earlier this week, Billboard and Chevrolet have teamed up to give fans the chance to vote for their favorite artist online and enter a contest to win an opportunity to present the award live at this year’s event alongside Cee Lo Green.

The Band Perry and Pitbull are also up for Milestone honors. Voting is now open on Billboard.com/milestone.

Just days after Justified Emmy winner Margo Martindale guest starred as Nick’s mother, the sophomore comedy has enlisted Taylor Swift, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Swift will play an “important guest” at Cece (Hannah Simone) and Shivrang’s (Satya Bhabha) wedding and appear in the May 14 season finale of the Zooey Deschanel, Jake Johnson, Max Greenfield and Lamorne Morris starrer.
