And it all comes down to this.

Hey guys!

I should be sleeping, because I have to get up in a few hours to go to Good Morning America tomorrow– but I can’t. I can’t stop thinking about the fact that in less than 24 HOURS, the new album is going to be out. It’s crazy to think about, because this is literally everything I’ve thought about for the past two years. I’ve been wanting you to hear these new songs since the very moment of their creation. Every single song has a face attached. They’re all about people. Some even mention names. But most importantly, these songs tell my stories.

These songs tell the story of my freshmen year of high school, and the day I met Abigail. They tell the story of the guy who apologized over and over again without ever meaning it. The story about saying goodbye to someone when you don’t want to, because you can’t breathe without them. The story of the boy who never realized he was with the wrong girl, and that the right one was right there in front of him. The story of my childhood, and the moment I realized my mom was the best friend I’ll ever have. The memories of running and laughing and having the best days with her.

These songs tell stories about fairytale romances, and how sometimes they don’t work out the way you dream about when you’re a little girl. Because when we’re young, we dream about Romeo and Prince Charming– and we hope he’ll ride up on a white horse and rescue us. But sometimes the white horse shows up too late, after the prince has already let you down and left your dreams out in the rain. I never read a fairy tale with that ending. I guess that’s the hard part about living in reality.

One song tells the story of the underdogs who spent every day dreaming about the day they’d see things change, and the story of the night things finally…. did. And they sang hallelujah. There’s the story of the first date that’s so magical, you want to dance around the parking lot in the rain. In your best dress. There’s the tragic story of the boy who walked away–because he found some other girl to promise forever to. Then there’s the love story about how it can all actually work out perfectly and wonderfully. And how love really CAN be everything we dream about. About how someday, we all just might find the one that will kneel to the ground and pull out a ring and say “Marry me, Juliet. You never have to be alone. I love you and that’s all I really know.”

And maybe that’s wishful thinking. But maybe… that’s just being fearless. ;)

Midnight tonight. Be there.

PS: I heard a great place to buy the first copy is the Wal Mart in Hendersonville, TN. It’s so great, I might just go there myself and pick one up.

Fearless
By Taylor Swift
Release date: By 2008-11-11

Boston Globe has a review on Fearless.

Swift gets a few songwriting assists (Liz Rose, Colbie Caillat), but the album’s most interesting songs are the ones Swift wrote alone. You can practically see the lyrics for “Fifteen” scribbled in a diary, chronicling Swift’s freshman year in high school. “In your life you’ll do things greater than dating the boy on the football team/ But I didn’t know it at 15,” she sings with palpable regret. Hindsight apparently comes early for Swift.

“The Best Day” also happens to be the best song. A musical valentine about how great Mom and Dad are, it’s understated enough to go unnoticed, but then you realize it sounds like nothing else on “Fearless.” After an entire album of wide-open choruses, it’s refreshing to hear Swift tell her story simply. If the melody doesn’t stick in your mind, the message at least speaks to the heart.

And Taylor admitted that she had a hard time buying underwear according to Page Six..

Last, I added candids from November 9 when she out in NYC.

That’s it I shut up now.

Taylor reads Perez Hilton| admin | News

Well she also reads JustJared.com and People.com daily… She will be a music video director if she’s not in music.
Startribune has a 4-pages article here.

She writes or co-writes her own don’t-mess-with-me love songs, which have attracted anew generation of teen girls to country music. She’s poised, polished and popular enough to appear this fall on the World Series, the MTV Video Music Awards, “Good Morning America,” David Letterman, Ellen DeGeneres, the American Music Awards and CMT’s “Crossroads” (in a duet with Def Leppard!) to trumpet her new CD, the aptly titled “Fearless,” sure to be one of the year’s biggest sellers.

When we visited on her tour bus at We Fest in August, Swift covered a wide range of topics, including the economy’s effect on country music; a video shoot that kept her up until 5:30 a.m., and how much politics she’d bring onstage in this election year. We promised to chat again before her album was released.

Since she says the songs on “Fearless” are mostly about boys, love and relationships, I had to ask how many dates has she been on in 2008 — and with how many guys?

Twenty dates with the same guy, she said without hesitation. But five or six questions later, she insisted on correcting herself. “It’s bugging me that I told you 20 dates,” she blurted. “I was on way more than 20 dates. And I dated two guys.”

I didn’t ask her to name names, but anyone who reads Perez Hilton — and that includes Swift, who said she also reads JustJared.com and People.com daily — knows that she has been linked to Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers.

Just a small update and some questions| admin | Random Thoughts, Site Updates

First of all, THANKS to all Taylor fans who visited this site, whether you’re just browsing around, leave a comment, etc. Thanks guys for making this whole fansite thing fun!
TSO has hit 30.000 visitors sometimes today (since August 29), something I didn’t expect when I adopted this site. I knew Taylor Swift Online is still kind of new since all of the contents were gone when I adopted the domain except the photo gallery but I’ll try my best to keep this site going and growing. And no, right now I have no intention whatsoever on giving up this site. I just wanted to say that I’ll get a new job (yeah like a real full time job) starting next week and I might not be able to update this site as much as I want to. We’ll see how it goes and if it’s too much maybe I’ll ask for some helps.. But we’ll see.
Anyway, back to the site, I added latest pictures section on the right sidebar. Let me know what do you think of it ( if you want to of course (; ). Feedbacks will always be appreciated. Also, is there anything else you want to be on this site? I’m still working on the lyrics section so hopefully that will be up soon. But if you want anything else just comment below and I’ll see what I can do.
Oh, and one more thing, comments are moderated since I did run some fansites before this one (and still running those) and I did have problems with bashing/hate comments. You’re free to speak up your mind but please remember this is a TAYLOR SWIFT FAN SITE. A “I don’t like her new song, etc” is okay but swearing, bashing, hate comments will not be tolerated.
Thing is I know that you want your comment to be viewable after you posted it, not one day after when I log in so.. I’ll ask you guys another question: do you prefer the moderated comments or do you want me to remove the moderation before approval? If no one comments then I’ll keep it the ol’ way..
That’s pretty much it, read below post for today’s updates!

It’s that time of year again! Someone decided to hack into my myspace. Cool, right? I just love it when they hack in and delete my pictures and change my top friends and wreak other various forms of havoc. Not. Please don’t think it’s me. Because I love you. Thanks for being my friend and being awesome and understanding. I’m watching Crossroads on CMT, it’s on right now!!

New York Times has a nice article about Taylor. Here’s an excerpt.

My Music, MySpace, My Life
That she’s likely to become only less accessible is a problem that Ms. Swift is, naturally, very attuned to. “All I can do,” she said, “is put up a MySpace video where I don’t have any makeup on and am wearing a periodic table of the elements T-shirt.”

That and continue to make connections, one person at a time. The night before Chattanooga, Ms. Swift was at Sommet Center in Nashville, opening a charity gig for Rascal Flatts. After emptying her wrist during “Tim McGraw,” she took in the sold-out crowd. “I am so proud to live in Nashville, Tennessee,” she said, “and I hope to run into you at the grocery store.”

Pictures added (Josh Anderson photoshoot, Larry McCormack Photoshoot, and another picture from Fearless photoshoot)

The Tennessean has another nice article. It talked about her life, school, and people’s opinions about Taylor. Click on more to read a small bit of the article.
