Taylor attended the Europe Music Awards in Frankfurt last night and she managed to bring home 3 awards. She won the Best Live, Best Female, and Best Look awards.

On another performing-related news, Ryan Seacrest confirmed that Taylor will take part in New Year’s Rockin’ Eve. We’ve heard about this for some time, but now it’s finally made official.

Taylor breaks another record with Red. The album sold over 1.2 million copies in its first week, which is bigger than any album sales in single week since The Eminem Show.

It’s official: Taylor Swift’s “Red” sold a whopping 1.208 million copies last week in the U.S. according to Nielsen SoundScan. That’s more than any album has sold in a single week since 2002, when Eminem’s “The Eminem Show” sold 1.322 million in its first full week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

“Red” also easily debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, scoring Swift her third chart-topper.

Impressively, “Red” was able to secure a million-selling week without any deep discount sale pricing.
